THE STORY
Saeid is a lawyer with a professional background in both engineering and law, bringing a structured, analytical, and practical approach to complex legal disputes and business matters.
He began his academic career in electrical engineering at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, one of the leading institutions in science and engineering. His engineering training instilled a disciplined and systems‑oriented mindset, an approach that continues to inform his legal practice, particularly in navigating fact‑dense disputes, technical evidence, and commercially sensitive decision‑making.
Saeid later transitioned to law, drawn to its analytical rigour and real‑world impact. At the University of British Columbia’s Peter A. Allard School of Law, he developed a strong foundation in Canadian litigation and dispute resolution. He was awarded the Faculty of Law International Tuition Award in two consecutive academic years.
Following law school, Saeid practised at a national Canadian law firm, where he worked on complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters. His experience includes representing major companies across North America in high‑stakes disputes, including matters involving significant financial exposure and intricate legal and evidentiary issues.
Saeid’s commitment to the rule of law and accountability is informed by early personal experiences with legal systems in which access to justice was uncertain. Those experiences continue to shape his approach to advocacy, one grounded in fairness, principled decision‑making, and careful attention to both legal and commercial realities.
He founded Raf Law Corporation to provide focused and efficient legal representation, combining national‑firm training with the responsiveness and clarity of a boutique practice. Saeid is known for his organised, practical approach to disputes, clear communication with clients, transparent billing practices, and careful alignment of legal strategy with each client’s objectives.
